Legends of the Samurai erratta
Hello -
I was looking through the PDF download while I wait for my book, and in the very first section in Chapter one, it talks about the Buddhist concepts of cleanliness with regards to Outcasts, and how most Outcasts are Shinto since they are considered unclean by Buddhist beliefs.
I think it is worth mentioning that the authors have transposed these two beliefs - it is Shinto which concerns itself with pollution and not Buddhism. As such, Eta were more likely to follow Buddhism than follow Shinto.
I realize its a small thing, but I thought it might be worth mentioning. I am really enjoying Legends of the Samurai and think the authors have done a tremendous job. I have a small gaming group and I've made the purchase of the core book mandatory (either print or PDF) for our up and coming Old Japan campaign.
