Post Reporting a crash
Hello, I had just finished updating my brand new copy of OpenRPG Standard, when the stupid thing crashed. I'm using Windows XP Home, with Python 2.6, and the automatically generated crash report is as follows:

Quote:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Program Files\OpenRPG\orpg\tools\decorators.py", line 106, in new_func
return func(*args, **kwargs)
File "C:\Program Files\OpenRPG\orpg\main.py", line 1315, in AfterSplash
self.frame = orpgFrame(None, wx.ID_ANY, CLIENT_STRING)
File "C:\Program Files\OpenRPG\orpg\tools\decorators.py", line 106, in new_func

File "C:\Program Files\OpenRPG\orpg\main.py", line 731, in build_gui
self.build_window(c, self)
File "C:\Program Files\OpenRPG\orpg\tools\decorators.py", line 106, in new_func
return func(*args, **kwargs)
File "C:\Program Files\OpenRPG\orpg\main.py", line 867, in build_window

File "C:\Program Files\OpenRPG\orpg\tools\decorators.py", line 106, in new_func
return func(*args, **kwargs)
File "C:\Program Files\OpenRPG\orpg\chat\chatwnd.py", line 332, in __init__
orpgTabberWnd.__init__(self, parent, True, size=size, style=FNB.FNB_DROPDOWN_TABS_LIST|FNB.FNB_NO_NAV_BUTTONS|FNB.FNB_MOUSE_MIDDLE_CLOSES_TABS)
File "C:\Program Files\OpenRPG\orpg\orpg_windows.py", line 95, in __init__
'slanted&colorful': FNB.FNB_VC8|FNB.FNB_COLORFUL_TABS,
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'FNB_COLORFUL_TABS'

Is there an easy fix for this, or am I going to have to go down a version?

That error is seriously weird. It's happened on just about every OS now. Not reliably of course. I can't reproduce it. Telling people to edit the code is no solution. Should we just take out coloured tabs from the product? I don't understand how you find the module but not one of it's standard attributes.

I have removed it in the current Beta of Traipse. I am right now testing the latest build's server on Vista. I am noticing these problems.

1. After long connection times my clients are DC'd though the server does not recognize them as DC'd
2. I have trouble staying registered to MY meta server. This is likely due to an error in the meta server code since I am still visible on orpgmeta.appspot.com. Unregistering and Registering again places the server back on line.
