Documentation for OpenRPG is thin and mostly general. I tried searching for solutions and none ever yielded hints about either the "slash command" nor "stop bracket". Where did you and prof.ebral learn about the "slash command" and "stop bracket"? Are they part of python programming language? Or exclusively part of OpenRPG?

Well the /input thing I recently added (indeed partly because I didn't like the ? prompt). Both prof.ebral and I have had to fix bugs on the die roller's ? feature. The format is not our fault there btw. So that's how we know. There's no in-program help system and the manual was out of date so documentation has been on the TODO list for a while.

I did add a tip of the day.
I started a wiki moving towards a manual:
http://openrpgnotes.wiki-site.com/index.php/Main_Page

We started a Google Wave (now defunct) talking about creating among other things some videos which would be training tools.

I made a rough list of features new in 1.8.1:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=311

We're programmers not tech writers and its hard to get going on it. Frankly there's a bunch of stuff the program does even I am unaware of -- such as the init() on sr4 die roller apparently!
