JWorden, if your schedule changes at all so you can make Tuesday nights I will make a spot for you. I know it is small consolation, but I want to put it out there. Yeah, after running games that JWorden has played in, he is a solid gamer and his not being in the game is a loss

That was the plan, I believe we had all discussed it last week. So I plan on being on the Blackstar server, probably a little before 9pm. The room will be called STALKER; Winds of Chernobyl...

Re: Playtest for STALKER setting using AFMBE rules...
So all things considered I think the 1st session went reasonably well. Looking for any constructive feedback from any of the players who are more familiar with AFMBE than I am. Also thought about altering the damage multipliers even more for firearms and slashing/piercing weapons so it is a bit less lethal (considering some of the possible damage that could have been dealt to some people last night). Either than or tweaking the healing rate some....I dunno....just things I am thinking out loud about.

I think it went really well. While it was funny I am not sure Borris charging with a hachet and getting away scott free makes sense. But other then that it went well

Explain exactly what you mean, Daedalus? Did you mean when he made a dodge roll to throw himself to the ground just in time to avoid the burst of fire from the SMG?

Awww. I was looking forward to hearing about it here so we could all discuss the game issues together....
I think the healing should be adjusted somewhat. In STALKER the gunfights can be deadly but you can also heal up right quick as well.
That being said this could turn into rocket tag when we start meeting heavier enemies with the bigger firepower, potentially becoming a situation where whoever wins initiative is going to to kill one or more of the opposition.

Re: Playtest for STALKER setting using AFMBE rules...
I was thinking about altering weapon damage but people seem to want to keep the deadliness up there. My thoughts on healing is to perhaps double the daily healing rate (as another side effect of the Zone's energies), slightly increase the amount of healing medikits (not first aid kits) do per application, and possibly allow people receiving first aid/medical ministrations to also have a little extra healing daily. Definitely will still keep combat dangerous but allows for quicker return to the Zone. As it stands right now Felix's 17 life points of damage would take 17 days to heal, a bit of a long wait. And yes, the question about Borris's charge were satisfactorily resolved. Looking forward to session 2!
