After folks poked and proded me to run something, I've decided to Run a Robotech 1st Edition, Invid Invasion Game... Starting level is third and I will be useing my extensive house rules.. post if you are interested.

Notes:

1. Setting is mosty as Palladium's 1st Edition Robotech game but RUN with some setting changes.

2. The only change from 1st edition, setting wise, is the invid don't use weapons of mass destruction, so scandinavia, the E.B.S.S. and Japan WERE not leveled in the invid invasion. AS well there are still PLENTY of Rogue Zentraedi and left over Robotech Masters troops still prowling the wastelands... Survivors of the 1st and 2nd Robotech Wars.


3. Before the Invid Invaded, The E.B.S.I.S. Merchant Republic and many independant nations had at least, limited, acces to the Old UEDF/RDF Gear/Mecha.

4. The Older, UEDF/RDF and ASC Mecha are Nuclear powered in my games.

5. I have extensive house rules I use, these i will send to players in rich text format.

6. Those that don't have the books I will provide the info to you.

I would probably be interested, but how can I find out more about this game? is there a rulebook out there? what would the house rules be?

I am interested but i need to know what 2pm central is in EST being a canuck in Ontario. Also the timeline, will it be during the Scott Bernard timeline or before he arrives back on earth?

I'm interested in playing a REF Military Specialist with a Shadow Alpha and Saber Cyclone.

the saber's ok, but a shadow fighter you have to earn... they are rare cause most were destroyed over reflex point. standard gear only. May allow any other Alpha though or possibly a special item for each player...... But need to ponder it and see what the others decide to play first.... But no shadow tech starting out..

That's fine, got no problem earning the shadow alpha. I'll just take a standard Alpha probably, will get back to you.
