Hello a few friends and I were trying to get a game going and we seem to have our room crash very frequently for all 5 of us to where it makes it impossible for us to play. The creator of the Room is on OSX and I have windows 7 and I'm sure we all have python 2.6. We have no idea why it keeps crashing. We tried several servers and still no luck. No one knows whats causing this and all players are crashing out OPENRPG. It's not always at the same time and sometimes its only 2 or 3 of us and not everyone.
Any idea whats going on? Maybe we are using different versions or something?
I use 1.0.8.5 (although I'm not sure if it updates or has ever updated when I try to update I get an error usually and just end up skipping it after a few minutes) I'm pretty sure everyone downloaded the current windows 7/Vista version from the Get OpenRPG page and are using the same version but I can't be 100% sure.

Re: Frequent Crashing
Yeah .. I think after DJ kicked me off the OpenRPG development team the team slowly disintegrated. The updater has started failing and no one on the team seems to care.
The only option I can provide is for you to use my fork called Traipse. 1. Download Traipse.zip from this page: http://traipse.assembla.com/spaces/traipse/documents 2. Extract it 3. Run the setup file to download the complete source code 4. Run Traipse to start the software.
