[Dungeonslayers] Old School Fantasy Game (Free Rules)
Hey everyone, I'm recruiting players who want to play in a old school, hack and slash fantasy game using the free Dungeonslayers rules. The game is set in the World of Aihrde (Erde) created by Troll Lord Games, but little setting knowledge is required as I can fill in the blanks for the players. As of right now, there is no set day or time for the game, but I would prefer it if it was on the weekends. The game is a mixture of dungeon adventures and wilderness exploration, with urban adventures thrown in to spice things up. The rules themselves are only 20 pages long, and can be found here. Setting information can be found in two sources. · The older Codex of Erde, which is pretty much a full setting book. Found here on Amazon. · The newer Aihrde Folio, which includes several full color maps but has less detail on the world. Drivethru rpg link here. As ever, my email is swammeyjoe@msn.com , so feel free to email me if you have any questions. Cheers,

I know I'm bumping this from last year, but that game fell apart and now that I've got some more time I'm looking to restart it. The stuff in the first post still applies.
Feel free to post here or email me if you are interested.

Me and my friend are game. Never played this ruleset, but it seems like fun. If you can play during one of these http://www.rpgobjects.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=565 times, then we would love to play.

Sounds good, I'm more likely to be available on Saturdays, so we could aim for that time slot, starting at say, either 10 or 11 Eastern? If you want to discuss characters either post here or send me an email, whichever you prefer.

Can you nail down a start date? This week would be fine for me, next would be good too. Are there age rules in Dungeon Slayers? I have had an image for an older character stuck in my head for a bit, and Id like to try it out. Plain ol' fighter here, and my friend probably will be too.

We'd start in two Saturdays (the 2nd), I've had plans set for this Saturday for a while and can't change them now, unfortunately. I don't think there are age rules in DS, but I'll see what I can come up with houserules-wise, if you want them (or you could, I don't mind).

Ok, cool. If you think a 45-50ish human male needs some penalties for age, go ahead and come up with something. Its fine either way.
Me and Chance have been offered a spot on a 2nd edition game, same time slot though, so we'll be checking that out too.
Just wondering, what kind of campaign are you planning on running? Hack n slash is fine with me, but a little puzzle or RPing thrown in would be cool too.

Re: [Dungeonslayers] Old School Fantasy Game (Free Rules)
I'll run what the players want (it's cliche, I know, but it's pretty much true). Pure hack and slash with nothing else is pretty boring, to be honest, so there will be plenty of RP'ing opportunities as well. Most games I run end up being (at least a little) sandbox-ish, and I like it if the players tell me what they want out of the game and what sorts of adventures they'd like to see happen.

Hiya,
I'd like to join as well if there's a spot still open.
