Evey time I try to update Open rpg it starts up and then just fails and gives this message. Its done this with multiple python installs including the base.

I've had these errors too. I've also experienced problems saving game logs since installing Visual Studio 2010 on my main desktop with OpenRPG (about a month now). I've reinstalled it and it still crashes or gives me errors trying to update.

Been using v1.8.0.

I am getting the same errors too on update. The last thing it shows updated is myfiles/runlogs/holder.txt - Updated -- after which it hits the HTTP Error 404 and stops.

Same issue here. Which is annoying.

It looks like the updater has tried to access a brken link. *sigh* ... again. That was part of the problem with 1.7.x

I hate to bring you guys bad news, but the developers for the version of OpenRPG you are using have not done much in nearly a year.

So, what do you recommend? that we get a different version?

Kinda. I am working on the Traipse fork and I am the only active developer. I am working on a really big overhaul of the software right now.

Ok then. any recommendations on something i could sue as a temporary thing while you do that?
