I'll keep that in mind when I hand out buffs . The leather armor gives a +3 armor bonus, if that is an improvement then by all means he may have it. Maybe Mason dons the amulet and the ring and Segrid gets the chain mail?

Speaking as the guy going Mystic Theurge I have no ground to stand on about what is and is not optimal, I'll do my best to make sure he makes it though fights.

Ok, regarding treasure now. Segrid will definitely be wanting one of the +1 Longswords. Also, I'd prefer the ring over the amulet, but will take either. Segrid likes to be up close and personal. With the enemies we're fighting the difference between a 16 and 17 AC isn't going to be much, but the difference between a 23 and 24 AC may help deternine the outcome of the fight.


My MW Breastplate I just bought is just as good for me as the +1 Chainmail, since it lets me use my full dex. So we can probably sell those if no one else wants them (maybe use the cash to +1 my Breastplate??) I can't believe I forgot about my breastplate during that whole fight.... (my AC was 23 not 21) EDIT:Luckily, it didn't matter, since just about every hit on my was either a nat 20 or way above 23.

Well it seems like there isn't much I can get save the Longsword+1, so I'll just request for that, and ask for a Masterwork +1 Composite Longbow to be ordered from Brevoy.

We should also look into a masterwork breastplate or finer armor for you, with a skirt of course.

There is not much to appeal to me in the pile either, so I am looking forward to the influx of cash, I have a desire to travel to Restov to purchase spells between chapters one and two, perhaps you can guard me on that trip and we can get your bow commissioned as well.

One other thing:

I was having a chat with Rone/MonkeyDLuffy and she told me one of the reasons Zel is so immature is that she is cursed with an inability to mature past early childhood (and I mean a literal curse). This is a problem that needs to be dealt with if we are going to keep Zel with us. We basically need to figure out that Zel has a magical effect on her (as opposed to my previous operating theory, that her dry rations are made of sugar) and remove it so she can play a character that can evolve.

Zel is basically a child who has deadly magical power and we need to deal with her before she becomes more of a threat.
